This robust, made in Germany 14 speed internally geared hub is the ultimate in reliability, and our most robust transmission for mid drive e-bikes. Maintenence is generally one oil change, once a year!

It will completely replace a traditional derailleur, and cassette set up that uses the derailleur to shift the chain to the left and right as you move up and down gears.  The main advantage of the Rohloff is a perfectly straight single chainline.  This allows for higher reliability and way less chain and sprocket wear.

For those riders wishing to constantly travel at higher speeds on a mid drive bike, this allows for more teeth engagement due to the 16T standard rear cog, and overall more reliable power transfer as the chainline is always perfect and never offset to the left or right as with a traditional drivetrain.

To top it off, a 526% gear spread means you will have both more torque in the lower gears and higher speeds in the upper gears.  Gears can be shifted from a dead stop and be immediately engaged as soon as you shift!  

This product is very easy to use and comes highly recommended.  Comes with 203mm Rohloff specific rotors, all adapters and parts required for the bike chosen, hardware, Rohloff drive unit itself, and twist shifter/cables.
